Awesome breakfast! Everything was delicious and Cierra was super friendly. Absolutely recommend the F-biscuit and Kaylyn waffle, a surprising combination of red velvet waffle, cream cheese, strawberries, bacon, and fried shrimp that totally works well together.

This restaurant has some of the best breakfast food I've ever eaten. I love every aspect about this restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing! My food was hot and fresh and made perfect. The chicken was very juicy and crispy, the eggs were on point and the biscuits were homemade and were some of the best biscuits I've ever had. They serve various amounts of different jams with your food, and you can even buy some for yourself to take home. The one that was served with my food was either a cherry or strawberry, but it made by biscuits taste like a cupcake! It was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more things.

Delicious! Great little diner.I'm not familiar with the area so I was hesitant at first. I'm so glad we tried this place. It was busy when we arrived which told me that the food must be amazing.Food was scrumptious! Prices are reasonable. Friendly and attentive wait staff too. I ordered the shrimp and grits and added the fried shrimp and bacon for 5 more. My friend ordered the Ashley omelet.We will definitely be back!

Pretty rough neighborhood ( fairly normal in Lake Charles) makes this an Oasis.Absolutely Delicious Breakfast, we enjoyed the Shrimp and Gritts ( customized for us ) with an additional egg and biscuit.Prices were very reasonable considering the two kinds of fish and all made and cooked in house . Great, friendly staff.

First off - I have worked in Lake Charles three times now. Never could find good breakfast till now.Secondly - Their menu is extremely unique. The guy who owns it clearly understands flavors and how to intermingle them.It's just a typical hole-in-the-wall diner till you eat the food. It's amazing. You won't find half the items on the menu anywhere else.If you're thinking of trying this place then absolutely try it. It's delicious and the people working there are very friendly.

Food was AMAZING!!! Catfish breakfast with grits & eggs along with the F Biscuit with chicken! Delicious!! Service was great!! Megan was so kind and we felt like we were with family! She was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying the meal! Will definitely come back!

The review by Chris Wilborn is the most ignorant thing I have seen... "Rough neighborhood" . They not like us! His lack of culture shows. This is simply a working class neighborhood, no rough.Thanks to the actual good advice, it is cool inside so having my jacket handy was a good tip. Friendly staff and the food is worth the wait! We had the Carrot Cake Waffles, Jambalaya Grits, and a "stuffed fish" Special. All very good and Flavor was on point!! It was more food than hubby and I could eat ourselves. Good portions!My only feedback, which does not affect the 5 rating was the coffee. The blend wasn't bad but a nice solid coffee (Community, Maxwell, Caribou, Pete's Coffee Major Dickason's, etc) would be great.

The sweetest staff! Feels like you walked into someone’s home! Excellent food! I loved the jambalaya grits! The carrot cake waffle was out of this world too! I highly recommend this place!
